Hello you good looking people!

It’s you’re old friend, L.J. Quacker quacken at ya’ again. Here it is March already! Easter is just around the corner. As a duck, I feel sorry for those rabbits, delivering all those eggs. Oh, well, at least, they are delivering chicken eggs, and leaving those duck eggs alone. I just made up a new joke: Why do Easter eggs come from chickens instead of ducks?Because, duck eggs are hard to “quack”!  Not bad for a little old duck, Huh?

The almond trees are all in blossom, the sun is feeling warmer each day, and spring is coming on fast. Time to start thinking about getting that BBQ and lawn furniture out of storage, and replace it with winter stuff you won’t need for another year. That’s where we come in; we are here waiting for you with a nice secure storage space for your stuff.

Mallard Mini Storage, as always is concerned with you, our customer and friends’ peace of mind and comfort, knowing that your stuff is being looked after. And will be here for you whenever you may need it. We have in the last several months made many improvements to the Facility. We have re-sealed the blacktop, re-painted the entire complex. We are now in the process of having the roofs of all the units re-sealed, to insure there are no leaks.  More improvements are in the works, for later down the road. We know that you value your stuff as much as we value you as our customer.

Well…I guess that will do it for now. I’ll be quacken at you again later on, so don’t forget to come back here to this web site often. This little old duck appreciates you keeping him from becoming lonesome.

Till next time, remember, “Don’t quack up…Pack up.

Hello again…Well, it is starting to look a lot like spring here in Gridley. The Trees are starting to bud; some are even in full bloom. This nice weather and nature coming awake makes this old Mallard want to start looking for a good place to make my nest and to store all my precious stuff. We here at Mallard Mini Storage have a nest ready and waiting for you. What do you think? Is it time to store your winter things, like Rain Gear, cold weather clothing, Etc? After all, you gotta have room to keep that Barbeque and all that nice lawn furniture until week ends come along, WOOPIE! Don’t you just love week-ends and barbequing?  So, why not take all that stuff you won’t need right away down to Mallard Mini Storage? We will watch and protect it for you. If you do need it, you have access to your storage unit 7 to 7---7 days. If some day you may need access to your unit later then these hours because you have to work late, or for whatever reason, just give the office a call before 5pm, (that’s when us ducks retire) and we will certainly accommodate your request. We are here to serve you. It’s ok for a duck to serve people, but not for people to serve ducks. You should only serve turkeys. Just a little duck humor.

Remember, stop by, say hello when you are in the Great Gridley duck area!

Take care, have a great spring. I’ll be quacking at you again soon!

Can you believe it? The holiday season has come and gone already!Time   seems to go so fast now days, I meet myself getting up as I go to bed. That's how  the "Over The Hill" phrase got started. You see when we are young, we are constantly climbing the hill of life. As we age, we keep getting closer to the top. Finally that day comes when we reach the top and start down the other side. By this time we are old and Over The Hill, and good old gravity pulls us down the other side. By the time we get to the bottom, we have accumulated all kinds of stuff and run out of a place to keep it... Aha! that's where us Mallards come in, we are experts at storing all sorts of stuff. We have been here in Gridley for sixteen years now, we can find a place for you to keep life's treasures and you can rest easy knowing they are safe and secure. What a sneaky way to get into a sales pitch, Huh? Well, you know how it is, if you need space, you need space, and we here at Mallard Mini Storage have live-in  Managers who are always making sure that your stuff is safe.I guess that is about all this old Mallard can think of, right now. I'll be talking to you again soon. Don't forget to come back often.

"HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN" The work has finally been completed on our facility painting and blacktop resurfacing project! and, just in time too. That rain and wind was MEAN! Boy, if it was a preview of what Old Man Winter has in store for us, we had better make sure our things are well protected.

I want to thank all our GREAT tenants for their patients and understanding while the work was being done. What can I say? Mallard Mini Storage has the best customers in world right here in Gridley! We love you!

Have you noticed, the weather is starting to take on our typical fall season look?  Kinda looks like an early winter. Now is the time to start thinking about where, what and how you are going to keep "Old Man Winter" away from your outdoor furniture, Bar-B-Q and other Summer stuff.  We, here at Mallard Mini Storage have those problems pre-solved for you!

Give us a call. Let us help you to put a crimp into Old Man Winter's plans. He does have a plan, you know. He wants to work with his cousin "Rusty Crud", to damage your stuff so you have to go buy new when good old Summer comes again.

Don't be left with the thought..."Man I wish I had got my expensive stuff down to Mallard Mini Storage, when I first read this".

Call us today, or better still...Come on by, Pick up a free gift, say hello and check us out.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our tenants, familes and loved ones the very Best Christmas and New Year ever! Thank you for your faithful business throughout the past year. Without you guys and gals, this old duck would be grounded, literally, "A duck out of water." We are sincerely looking forward to serving your storage needs in the coming years.

Well folks, looks like it's about time for turkeys to go into hiding again. Wouldn't you just hate to be a turkey? Come to think about it, it's no fun being a duck either. But we are a bit safer during the thanksgiving holiday, as everyone is looking to grab a turkey. Then, lo and behold, Christmas isn't far behind, then everybody seems to want a goose. That is when I start to worry, because a lot of people mistake us ducks (especialy us fat ones) for geese. I get threatend all the time here at the storage facility. Hunters bring their decoys here for safe storing until the next duck season opens. Some of those decoys look pretty darn good to me, and the temptation to jump in the storage unit with them is very great. But my manager would frown on that, I'm sure. Ok, that's enough of my ramblings. I want all you good humans to have a great thanksgiving. Remember, Don't quack up
